Trash to Tunes: A Musical Reuse Workshop (with The Garbage-Men)

Turn recycling into rhythm at Trash to Tunes, a playful FREE Family Saturday where creativity and reuse gets a soundtrack! Families will build simple percussion shakers from found and recycled materials, then stick around for an interactive, upbeat musical jam with The Garbage-Men—a local band known for promoting recycling and sustainability by performing on instruments crafted from garbage. From one-string guitars made of cereal boxes to drums fashioned from bins, The Garbage-Men turn everyday trash into music.
