About This Event
This 6-week series is tailored for young artists in 1st through 6th grades who are eager to explore and master the basics of their chosen medium. Guided by professional teaching artists, students will navigate the fundamentals through a fun and flexible curriculum focused on creative exploration. All skill levels are welcome, and all materials are provided.
Learn the basics of design sketching, fabric selection, and sewing techniques. Each week, students will work to bring their designs to life, guided by experienced instructors. Perfect for aspiring designers eager to express their style and innovation!
Class will meet weekly on Saturdays between 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM for grades 1-3 and 12:00-1:30 for grades 4-6 on September 21, September 28, October 5, October 12, October 19 and October 26.
This is a 6-week course. Refunds will not be given for missed classes, or for registrations canceled less than 7 days before the start of the first session. For a full refund, please email bdouglass@mccollcenter.org before September 14, 2024.
