Homeschool Days

About This Event

The Yakima Valley Museum and the Lupine Society of Readers is pleased to offer monthly social studies lessons for homeschool students in 3rd-8th grade. Lessons are developed and taught by experienced educators and align with Washington State Standards. Students will enjoy a lesson with hands-on activities and will receive a guide with suggested museum exhibits and readings for further exploration.

Lessons are offered every month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Attendance is $10 per student, including Yakima Valley Museum admission. Free for members! Interested in becoming a member? Learn more about our membership benefits here.

  • Indigenous Peoples and their Cultures (January 14, 2026)
  • The Columbian Exchange (February 11, 2026)

  • History of Conservation of Our Environment (May 13, 2026)
