I lost both my parents 23 years ago 4 months apart.  Cancer stole my Mom in 5 weeks and just four months later claimed my Dad.  The amazing people at Hospice took care of my parents and us as a family.  They ensured we had the medicine we needed to make  my mom and dad comfortable and they offered counseling so we could deal with th situation and the grief.  
No one is prepared to lose their parents but Hospice made it just a little easier and many of the people who dealt with my Mom came to her funeral.  They became part of the family and  felt the need to be there for us six kids.  No words can express  our thankfulness for all of them but I can pay it forward to others who are feeling that same loss and need the help to get through all that is involved.
