Thanks so much for visiting my fundraising page for HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer! This is our 10th year participating in the MOCA 5K! My mother, Tracey Hill, passed away from clear cell ovarian cancer in August 2010 at the young age of 52, after a 10 month battle. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, teacher, friend and I miss her every single day.
We participate every year so to raise awareness about signs/symptoms of ovarian cancer and to fund research aimed at finding new methods of diagnosis and treatment. I am so thankful of all that MOCA does for women and families affected by ovarian cancer.
This year I am coming home to participate! Since starting OB/GYN residency out in Delaware, I haven't been able to make it back. But I made it a priority to come back for our 10th year. Please, donate today to help me make a difference against ovarian cancer, and consider joining me to walk and run against this disease on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Rosland Park in Edina!
