The Challenge:

IslamicRelief USA invites you to join us in the “Remember Syria Challenge” : an empathy challenge to not forget about our Syrian refugee brothers and sisters. We ask you to see yourself in them, by spending 10 hours outdoors, exposing yourself to the elements. We challenge you to recognize our blessings and to value the opportunity to support relief work being done to serve them.

Summary:

The conflict in Syrian has fueled the largest Refugee crisis in the world today…with over 5million spread across multiple continents, and 6 million displaced within Syria itself.  This March marks 10 years since this horrible catastrophe began, and many of them are very much dependent on relief to provide them with basic needs : clean water, sanitation, nutrition, and warmth during the harsh winter months.

Violence, poverty, despair unfortunately continue into a tenth year for families across Syria with no end in sight and now, with the added devastation of coronavirus. But we are not hopeless! We envision a better world for our Syrian sisters and brothers, and pray that you will act with us to make that a reality. This month we are raising funds to provide essential educational support to women and children in Syria and those in surrounding areas) 

We are also hosting a Challenge on March 15th titled "Remember Syria Challenge" to support the people of Syria (RSVP HERE).

As much as we’ve been able to accomplish, there is still so much more to do. If we work together—with YOU—we can make the vision of a better Syria a reality for so many more of our sisters and brothers in need.

$200 feed multiple families 

PLEASE NOTE: Donations made to IRUSA’s Syria fund may serve urgent or long-term programs for Syrian refugees and internally displaced families.

Donors like you have made critical resources such as medical aid, education development, and women’s empowerment programs available for thousands. Winter also amplifies their suffering to tragic levels, bringing freezing cold to the thin tents many call home—but donors responded with blankets, warm clothes, and new mattresses.

Every bit of help provide means new hope for families. With your continued to compassion and support, IRUSA can provide more relief for people in need of aid.
