In 2005, at the age of 8, I joined the YMCA for the first time with my family. At that age, I did not take into account all of the ways the YMCA would impact my life for the better. Particularly, from making friends in middle school to working with them as employees in adulthood, the YMCA has surely shown me what true community is. Additionally, the YMCA is meant to be a place to build healthy body, mind, and soul for all people. Thus, that is what I am advocating for today with this fundraiser. Please consider making a donation to support a child's participation in the upcoming Jr. 12 rounds competition. Your donation will contribute to a child's ability to develop healthy lifestyles.
