To our son Kanaan Asher Joseph. We love you dearly and cannot wait to meet again in heaven together. We will give you the biggest hug, and squeeze, and the sweetest kiss.

Our story briefly, 

David and I have been married for almost 9 years and have lost three babies in our journey to have a family. October 1, 2017 we had our first miscarriage with whom we call our daughter Esther. July 7, 2018 we had our second miscarriage with whom we call our son Nehemiah. We took a break from trying to get pregnant right away and decided to do some more in-depth health testing. We uncovered and found some things that we affecting me and we addressed them. January 2021 we found out we were pregnant with our son Kanaan Asher who was still born on September 7, 2021. I got to carry him for 35 weeks. Along our pregnancy towards the end we learned of a condition that he had:  Trisomy 13 (you can read more on our blog about this). We were completely crushed when we found out we would probably never get to meet our son alive at birth. We prayed and prayed. Cried and sought the Lord. The grieving had begun just days before delivering him. We are forever changed. 

We join this event to help remember our children in heaven and honor all babies that have been lost. Missing Grace helped us in some of our darkest moments of grief. Their resources and care is amazing and we recommend them to anyone going through a baby or child loss. We pray you ar blessed as you join us or donate to this organization!
