Junior Achievement® is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, reaching more than 8 million students in 100 countries worldwide.
Year after year, Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana works diligently to bring JA’s valuable programming to as many youth as possible. We are thrilled to announce that, during the 2015-2016 school year, we once again reached a record number of students: 131,388 across our 30-county service area! This more than 4% increase over the 2014-2015 school year is thanks in large part to the exceptional growth we’ve seen across our regional areas, where more than 5,100 additional students received programming.
To understand the true power of Junior Achievement, though, it’s important to consider what these numbers represent; more than 131,000 individual students were empowered with the knowledge, capacity, and motivation to build better futures for themselves and their communities. When you consider the possibilities of this impact, the results become nothing short of remarkable.
