Why we need your help!
2019 WHO Pinky Swear Radiothon
The WHO Pinky Swear Radiothon, presented by Dean Snyder Construction, is a day-long radio event to raise funds to further the mission to help kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support.
On December 11, 2015, Newsradio 1040 WHO held their first radiothon on behalf of the Pinky Swear Foundation to help pay the mortgages, utility bills, and other financial needs of families who have a child with cancer in Iowa and across the U.S.
The tradition continued in 2018, and the radiothon has now raised over $373,000 for the Pinky Swear Foundation. Since January of 2016, 312 financial gifts have been provided to Iowa families with an average gift of $900.
Thank you for your support and listening to News Radio 1040 WHO during the Pinky Swear Radiothon. Continue listening for real-time updates and totals. NOTE: The thermometer below will continue to be updated today and in the coming days.
