My name is Rebecca Martin, and I am bowling with Design Collaborative's "The Bowling Stones" team.  I have been involved with the JA Achieve-a-Bowl for three years now, and it's been a lot of fun to be involved with this organization!

In middle school, I remember doing a similuation where I was given an identity, career, and a salary, and for one day, I had to "live" on my salary and make financial decisions that would affect myself and my fictional family.  This opportunity really opened my eyes to the reality of money and helped shape how I approached finances as an adult.

JA reaches over 130,000 students with programs like this every year.  By reaching out to our youth, JA is helping the next generation became financially responsible and independent adults.
