A bit about Wolf. She was born with a rare genetic chromosome duplication. 10q. Almost nothing was known. Will she grow, will she thrive, will she walk, talk, run? Referred to the Birth to 3 program, tons of specialists, therapy’s, and alternatives. Through the past 6 years, we have laughed and cried, watching our little daughter crawl, and finally walk. We have waited patiently for her first word at the age of 3, cat, which she said and signed. When she was finally confident in her ability to walk, she started attempting to jump and run. She now can say, “I can run really fast!” She races her teacher Ms. Katie in the hallway at school almost every morning.
