My Personal Fundraising Page
This year I am participating in Epilepsy Canada’s 1IN100 fundraiser because this cause is deeply personal and profoundly important. Epilepsy affects 1 in 100 Canadians, and yet it remains one of the most misunderstood neurological conditions. Too often, those living with epilepsy face not only the daily challenges of seizures but also the stigma and lack of awareness that come with the condition. By raising funds and awareness, we can help change that.
As a board member of Epilepsy Canada, I have seen firsthand the difference that research, education, and advocacy can make in the lives of individuals and families touched by epilepsy. The 1in100 campaign provides a powerful way to support cutting-edge research that brings us closer to better treatments, improved quality of life, and ultimately, a cure.
For me, participating is also about setting an example for my children and community—showing that when we come together with purpose, we can create lasting impact. Every step I take in this challenge is a reminder that no one living with epilepsy should feel alone. I’m proud to stand with Epilepsy Canada and contribute to a future of greater hope, understanding, and breakthroughs.
