Why I’m taking on the 1IN100 Challenge ? 1 in 100 Canadians lives with epilepsy — and I happen to be one of them. Epilepsy is a relatively new journey for me, and experiencing the fear, uncertainty and challenges that come with it has made me want to be part of something bigger. I naturally want to turn a challenge into change for the better. I’m taking on this month long challenge to help bring greater awareness to epilepsy, raise funds for research, and help bring hope for a future where the impact on those living with it is lessened. I know the struggle personally, and I want to help make the road a little easier for those who are walking it too.
