In honour of my sister, Elizabeth Ford Telke, who developed epilepsy as the result of a brain injury sustained in a car accident when she was 17. She died 10 years ago, following a major seizure. She would have been 60 this October. Elizabeth's first grandchild was born in August. She is still deeply missed.
