This October, I’m taking part in the 1in100km Challenge for Epilepsy Awareness Month. Epilepsy is a cause that is incredibly personal to me. It’s something that has directly impacted my life, and I know firsthand that epilepsy is about so much more than the seizures themselves. It can affect your everyday life, your independence, your plans, and the people around you. That’s why raising awareness and supporting the epilepsy community means so much to me. Throughout October, I’ll be completing 100 km of physical activity while fundraising to support epilepsy awareness, education, and those living with epilepsy. Last year, with the incredible support of my family, friends, and community, I was able to raise over $4,000. I’m so grateful for everyone who helped me reach that goal, and this year I’m hoping to match it or go even further.
