This month I am participating in 1 in 100 for my son, Dominic who has battled seizures for over 10 years now. He is the definition of strength and he has the kindest heart. His humour will make your belly hurt from laughter and his smile, mixed with a thumbs lets us know he's okay after every seizure. He's had a really difficult couple of years and these last few weeks have been no different. He has required rescue medications frequently, missed school, had many appointments and recently had surgery to replace his vagel nerve stimulator (VNS) which is a device to help decrease the length and frequency of seizures. Despite having multiple seizures every day, he doesn't let them stop him. I admire his courage and bravery. He will always be my hero ?. Raising funds for epilepsy research could literally one day save my son's life! This month I walk for him and many others who have epilepsy. Anyone will a brain can have a seizure. My son is 1 in 100!
