My Personal Fundraising Page

I am walking this year to honor the memory of my dear friends, Bob and Marilyn Rentschler, who lost their daughter to AIDS.  I recall sitting with both of them after my first walk years ago and the delight on Bob's face when he accepted the trophy for our team raising the most funds as a group that year.  Bob and Marilyn epitomized for me what many of my Edgewood mentors have represented, that is, courage in the face of loss and injustice, tenacity in the pursuit of justice, and community connection bound together by  hope for a better world.  Miss and love you both.

(To see part of Bob's interview for the Edgewood O&A video, copy the link below.  He is the last one in a series of remarkable testimonies to the importance of a Christian church intentionally engaging the open and affirming educational process and experience in their evolving advocacy for the LGBTQ community).
