The Walk for Sudan benefits Nuba Water Project which is bringing critically needed relief to the people in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. The Nuba have been under attack by their own government for decades. Another wave of bombing and ground assaults are happening right now. The Walk for Sudan raises money to deliver clean water drops for water purification, well repair parts and scholarships for Nuba students to attend school outside of the conflict zone in the Nuba Mountains.

I know how desperately needed these relief supplies are for the Nuba in their homeland and in refugee camps where they have been forced to flee. I see how kids lives are changed and their hopes for the future are raised through our scholarships.
