I John Alex Lowell have registered to partake in the 9th Annual Walk for Brain Injury in San Franciscoin support of the Brain Injury Association of California (BIACAL). The Walk in San Francisco attracts more than 1,000 participants. I will walk around Lake Merced in San Francisco with them. This empowering fundraising walk is to occur on Saturday, July 16th. I shall deliver again my interfaith blessing to all assembled at the 2016 San Francisco Walk for Brain Injury. I shall give & receive in this safe & healing walk for BIACAL, all affected with brain damage in California & you.
Acutely aware I am of the work of BIACAL. As Spring had sprung 15 years, I was flung in a hit & run & my brain damage sojourny had begun on March 23rd 2001. Please help me raise funds to achieve my goal of $3000 by making a donation of any amount to my fundraising page today. You can even register to walk with me at this event!
Funds raised will be directed towards the following programs and services:
Provide information & resources to thousands of Californians each year.
Education on brain damage through presentations & conferences across the state.
Engaged prevention programs.
Increase public awareness of brain injury through events and community outreach across the state at schools and sporting events.
Update the BIACAL Website that will include a community blog
Provide the latest information about brain injury research on the BIACAL website and post active studies being conducted across the state.
Seed new support groups across the state and initiate a monthly Webinar support group for those unable to attend in-person meetings.
Legislative Advocacy on behalf of all Californians living with brain injury.
