My Story

Hello! My name is Peyton I am 20 years old and I have epilepsy. I was diagnosed with epilepsy April 20, 2017 at age 18. After being diagnosed with this illness I quickly began to realize how undereducated I was on epilepsy let alone simple seizure first aid. I walk because I think it is important  to educate people about epilepsy and seizures while also searching for a cure. Living with epilepsy definitely comes with a list of difficulties but the one I struggle with the most is not having many people around me that live with the same illness I do. This event makes me feel understood and allows me to connect with people that have epilepsy.
