Our epilepsy journey started in the beginning of 2015 when Paige started having seizures. At first we didn't even know what was happening and then she had an event she didn't come out of and we ended up in the hospital. We eventually learned that what she was experiencing was seizures. Along the way the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota has been an invaluable resource in our journey! We are excited to go on the Rise Above Seizures walk this year and help raise funds for education, connection, empowerment and awareness for people with seizures, including our dear Paige. 

Paige's updates: Paige has been 8 months seizure free now. She continues to have an abnormal EEG and her last one was fairly messy. In spite of that she is doing well developmentally and is a super curious adventurer and learner :) We have another 24 hour EEG this fall and are praying it has cleaned up significantly!!
