Join and hear about 3 journeys of loss, grief, coping, and healing.
You will hear about my journey as a bereaved parent of a miscarriage and infant loss through daycare neglect. Although recent and early in grief, I want to share how I've been able to cope through the court trials, my support system, my faith building, and what I'm doing to keep Phoenix's memory alive. I will also talk about how Missing Grace has helped me through it all.
Chrissie Betlach Vinge is a widow who documented her husband's illness and death as well as her grief on CaringBridge. Her hope is that others will develop a better understanding of life with a serious illness and can benefit from her experiences.
Sherie Wagner lost her 20 year old son, Joe, to suicide 10 years ago. She is the mom of four children and seven grandchildren. Since Joe's death, she has been a facilitator for suicide loss support groups, been a board member for Prevent Suicide Manitowoc, and currently on the executive team for North Metro Grief Coalition. Her hope and passion is to make others aware of mental health awareness, in the hopes of saving lives.
