In 2013, my life changed when I was diagnosed with Epilepsy.  A fun trip to Vegas turned into a nightmare when I woke up in the back of an ambulance after suffering a clonic tonic seizure.  Finally, after six years, my seizures have not disappeared but they are better.  I have learned a lot about myself and this condition throughout the last six years. I may have Epilepsy but it does not have me.  I walk to support all my fellow Epilepsy warriors and to thank my family and friends for their support.  Let's find a cure so that we can all be seizure free!
