We need you! Tragically, the opioid epidemic is leading to more than 6 deaths every day in Maryland – 180+ people dying from addiction EVERY MONTH! And the 600 men and women served at Helping Up Mission (HUM) are Facing The Challenge every day to fight life-threatening addictions, and realize real hope and life-transformation. They have this hope because of YOU. Your compassion and generosity provide the possibility for a life of health, hope, and positive impact for those in their lives!
Each summer/fall, hundreds of HUM staff, board members, men and women in our programs, donors, and volunteers join Team HUM as runners/walkers to participate in the Baltimore Running Festival, held Saturday October 19th. We do this to raise awareness for Helping Up Mission and the critically needed financial support necessary for the life-saving and transforming programs.
