I have had an opportunity to spend time with the men and women at Helping Up Mission. I am very impressed by everyone that has decided to ask for help and enrolled in the Faith Based 1 year program at Helping Up Mission. These men and women are brave, vulnerable and seeking answers to serious questions about their lives. They are fighters, explorers and studying God's word. I wish I could say I was as brave and vunerable as they are. What I can say is that there is hardly any difference between me and these men and women. There are many situations that could have led me to be enrolled with them. 

The furthest I have run prior to this challenge is 6 miles. I will be excited to say that the furthest I have run is 13.1 miles after the race on October 20th. Please cheer me on and support this amazing group of men and women!
