My Personal Fundraising Page

I started as an intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters in January of 2008 and was hired on as a case manager the following May. Since then, I have met some of the most selfless people in my life - our volunteers. Everyday people like you and I who work, have families and not a lot of free time, who still find it in their heart to change the life of a child all while expecting nothing in return. I have also met some of the most amazing children and parents who have reached out to us for just a little bit of help in the form of a mentor for their child because the child was considered to be at risk for a variety of reasons (single parent household, grandparents acting as parents, living in poverty, bullying, poor grades/attendance, low self-esteem/confidence, susceptibility to peer pressure, etc.) I have seen how something as simple as having an adult friend - someone other than mom or dad to talk to can change these childrens' lives. Please consider donating to this cause so we can keep recruiting mentors, making matches and changing childrens' lives.
