Junior Achievement (JA) empowers students to make a connection between what they learn in school and the "real world." Our programs enhance the relevance of classroom learning, help students understand the value of staying in school, and provide them with the skills they need to be successful adults.

I'm supporting JA's important work by participating in JA bigBowl. Please support my efforts with a tax-deductible donation.  Because of your generosity, Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest will be able to provide real world skills and experiences to more than 162,500 local students this school year.

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP has embraced the mission of Junior Achievement, a nonprofit organization that teaches financial literacy to children in grades K-12. We sent over 130 volunteers into the classroom last year (reaching over 1,900 students in 67 classrooms) and raised more than $64,000 dollars in 2016. Along with teaching several times a year in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area, I am the Co-Chair of JA Volunteer Recruitment for our firm.

Besides asking for your donation, I will be donating several items from "Ter Lin Designs" for our internal silent auction along with working with several businesses to get donations.

These economic times underscore the need for financial literacy. Your donation will help kids in our community be financially responsible in their personal and professional lives.
