Being visually impaired myself, it means a lot to me to be working in an organization that gives back to the community and helps people like me get the tools and skills they need to succeed.  At Lighthouse Works, our mission is "empowerment through employment", and I absolutely love what I do, because my work in custom accessibility scripting does just that.  My work helps our call center team work as efficiently (if not more so) than agents who are sighted - in jobs they might not be able to do otherwise!  Technology truly levels the playing field, and my goal is to keep using it to empower people who are blind!
