I have no shame.

Not when it comes to raising money for a good cause.   Which kind of reminds me of a scene from the greatest movie of all time.  (No, not Caddyshack!)

Miracle Max: You got any money?

Inigo Montoya: Sixty-five.

Miracle Max: I've never worked for so little. Except once, and that was a very noble cause.

Inigo Montoya: This is noble, sir. His wife is... crippled. His children are on the brink of starvation.

Miracle Max: Are you a rotten liar!

Inigo Montoya: I need him to help avenge my father, murdered these twenty years.

Miracle Max: Your first story was better.

Inigo Montoya goes on to explain (no, it is too much…he must sum up!) that true love (“to blave”) is at the heart of the mission.  Still, Miracle Max is unconvinced.  Only after learning that he can get back at Prince Humperdinck, does he agree to help. 

Well, imagine that I’m Inigo Montoya, and you’re Miracle Max.  I need a miracle pill, with chocolate coating, if you please.  2,500 of them to be precise.  That’s the goal that Christine, my wife/playing partner/true love, have made for ourselves. 

For those of you who are metaphorically challenged, or have NOT YET seen The Princess Bride, that means that we need to raise $2,500…by Friday. 

Yeah.  There is a reason why we call you “Miracle Max!” 

And then go make yourself a nice MLT - mutton, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomatoes are ripe.  They're so perky, I love that!
