I believe that every child deserves a GREAT future and that's why I will be participating in the 10K race with Team Club Kid during this year’s Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon Weekend to raise money for The Boys & Girls Club of America.  I’ve seen first-hand the importance an organization like the Boys & Girls Club can have on kids in our communities. Sadly, the Boys & Girls Club are becoming more & more important to the kids in our area and they depend on it for more than just a place to hang out.  They supply these kids with not only a safe place but also help with homework, mentoring, meals & pretty much anything else the neighborhood needs.  

I know asking for money is a sensitive subject and that’s why as much as I’d love for one or two people to donate the entire amount that’s not what I’m asking ;-). Instead I would like to challenge each of you to donate anywhere between $3 - $5 (the cost of coke & candy bar) and I know if we all chip in we can reach my goal.  Once again, I know asking for money is intrusive, but I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t believe in the end game.  Please join me in giving a little back to the community and helping a great organization like the Boys & Girls Club.
