Welcome to I Can't Believe It's Not Breakfast!
In times unlike any other, we invite you to support programs and services for individuals who are blind by participating in a one-of-a-kind campaign - I Can’t Believe It’s Not Breakfast! While we would love to be setting the tables and inviting you to join us for a cup of coffee and an orange roll, an exciting speaker, and an opportunity to see the Lighthouse mission in action, that simply cannot happen yet.
Although we cannot gather in person, the need to empower people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities in our community has not stopped – in fact it has grown during the pandemic. Now more than ever, your generous support will transform lives, helping people who are blind through this difficult time, while building vital skills for the future.
At the Lighthouse skills are developed. Experiences are gained. Confidence is instilled. Lives are transformed. We are more than a rewarding place of employment. We are a community of people who inspire each other to discover their passions and grow as individuals. We are a place where experiences are shared, dreams are realized, and futures are brightened.
We rely on events like our Annual Opportunities Breakfast to provide vital funds to keep Employee and Community Services strong. This year, we hope to raise $20,000 through the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Breakfast Campaign, and make sure that people in the Inland Northwest receive the support they need.
While we can’t invite you to breakfast this year, we still need your support of our vital training programs such as orientation and mobility, braille literacy, and computer and assistive technology training that the Lighthouse has been providing to the Spokane community for 12 years.
Thank you! Every gift supports people who are blind in our community. Sharing this page, inviting your friends, and helping us spread the word is also a necessary part of keeping the Lighthouse community strong!
