Thanks so much for wanting to help the animals! Trolley and I will be walking this year to honor my Dad, who just celebrated his 96th birthday! Dad loves his visits from Trolley so much. His face lights up when he realizes he will soon be getting smooches from our little redhead! The impact that pets have on our lives, and those of our loved ones, is immeasurable. And to think that so many animals don't have forever homes really makes MY mission (to help as many of them as possible) one that I dedicate myself to wholeheartedly. And YOU can help!
This year, I've been issued a challenge from my generous hubby. Richard Rice has promised that if I can raise $5000 for the Walk this year, he will match it dollar for dollar!! Just think: we could help raise $10,000 for the Capital Area Humane Society, and that means SO many animals will be getting a fresh start. Don't forget, CAHS also provides services at their low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic, too. Fixing household pets is the number one biggest way we can all help reduce the number of unwanted litters every year.
So if you've been wanting to do something for the cats, dogs, birds and other furry friends, this is the perfect time. Any amount you may be able to give will help tremendously - it all adds up! Or, come join me at the Walk for the Animals on October 9 to show your support for animals in need! To donate online, please click the “Donate Now” button to the right.
Thank you for your support!
