I began working with WE ACT for Environmental Justice last July because I wanted to do my part in fighting for racial justice and because climate change is the issue of our generation. Did you know that organizations like WE ACT for Environmental Justice only receive 1.3% of the funding for environmental work? [1] That's WACK! considering that people of color bear the brunt of environmental toxins.
