2022 Gingerbread Home Build

This virtual event brings our El Paso County community together to decorate gingerbread homes in a friendly competition to raise funds to help Karmen, a local US Army veteran, build and purchase a new, affordable home for her family.

Participants need donation "votes" to win the competition!  You can vote for a participant by making a donation on their fundraising page or clicking the donate button and selecting which participant you'd like to support. Don't have a favorite? You can donate to support the event in general.

All donations directly support the construction of a new, affordable home for local US Army veteran Karmen and her two boys!

The three gingerbread homes that raise the most money for our 4th Veterans Build will win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. Voting ends at midnight on Friday, December 16th.

Karmen's family's home will be Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity's 4th Veterans Build. Our fundraising goal for this event is $26,810, which is 9% of our expected cost to build the home at $300,000.

Thank you for supporting a local veteran in achieving affordable homeownership!
