I'm currently in my 5th year as a volunteer with CAHS, and I'm so grateful that I can continue to be a part of such an outstanding organization. After starting in the education department as a camper, I've continued to volunteer and help with camps each year. Since starting as a volunteer, I've found a passion for animal rescue and I'm excited to be able to continue volunteering while I attend school and further my knowledge so I am able to work in this field in my future.
Capital Area has made such an impact in my life, but even more importantly they have worked to save and protect the lives of thousands of animals in the Mid-Michigan area. CAHS has helped me find all four of my pets, and I know they will continue to help animals find their families.
