Junior Achievement is changing the lives of young people by helping them understand what is possible in their lives.  Programming is focused on critical life skill areas such as financial planning and career planning.  They do this by helping students connect what they lean in school with life outside the classroom and often times outside of their personal home environment.  

I have been an active board member for almost a decade and have gained a great deal by volunteering to teach in the classroom annually (typically downtown Buffalo or Niagara Falls), and by helping to financially support great fundraising and team building opportunities like this Bowl-a-thon and Stock Market Challenge.
