We're fundraising with Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity!

Your donation will directly support the construction costs that will help Damian and Trinady, a local US Army veteran family, build and purchase a new, affordable home for their family. Habitat homes are not a gift. Damian and Trinady will contribute hundreds of hours of labor as well as attend homeownership and finance classes in addition to making mortgage payments to Pike Peak Habitat that can be recylcled to build another home in our community for yet another family.
Matt Adams and Karen Sugano joined George Hammond, Alex Adams, and me on the building crew this year. Karen was part of the roofing team and Matt brought his collegiate glass shop experience to our first year producing stained glass windows! Our design was inspired by a Dickens Village church. The escalation of home prices and rise in interest rates has made homeownership even more of a challenge. Habitat for Humanity families have the opportunity to create long term stability and community and enable better education for their children which can lead to positive impact for generations to come.
