Discover The Wonders of Pakistan

Immerse yourself in the landscapes and adventures of Pakistan. Grab a good pair of hiking shoes and wander through the mesmerizing valleys of Pakistan, from Islamabad to Naran.

Join us from September 8th to the 18th and get the full experience of exploring Pakistan. Our itinerary will be jam packed with trekking, rafting, and ice climbing all to support those in need in Pakistan. Be prepared for an adventure of a lifetime!

Support People in Pakistan

During the Pakistan Challenge you will have an opportunity to visit projects facilitated through Islamic Relief and meet the right-holders your donations will be supporting. All participants will receive an email with a link to their personal crowdfunding page. Your goal is to raise $2,000!

PACKAGE & INFORMATION

What will Islamic Relief cover with registration fees?

  • Transportation within Pakistan, including to/from airport in Islamabad
  • 3 meals/day for duration of trip (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
  • 10 Nights Accommodation
  • Costs of all activities and tours
  • Entrance fees for sites/parks

What will YOU have to cover?

  • Transportation to/from PAkistan (Flight + Baggage expenses)
  • Selected meals on arrival/departure dates
  • Snacks outside of meals
  • Souvenir/Gift Shopping
  • Personal Expenses
  • Medical Expenses (travel insurance is required)
  • Hiking Equipment (boots, poles)
  • All other expenses outside of Islamic Relief Pakistan Trek Challenge (extra tours, stays, transportation, meals)

Travel:

  • Arrive in Islamabad to start your adventure

DAY 2
Travel:
Islamabad, Pakistan - Field Project | Activity: Project Visit | Overnight: Islamabad, Pakistan

  • Visit Islamic Relief Pakistan Projects

DAY 3
Travel: Islamabad, Pakistan - Naran, Pakistan | Activity: Travel, Rafting, Ziplining | Overnight: Naran, Pakistan

  • Departure from Islamabad and travel to Naran
  • River Rafting in Kunhar River

DAY 4
Travel: Naran - Minapin | Activity: Travel, Explore | Overnight: Minapin, Pakistan

  • Depart for Nagar Valley
  • Stop at Babusar Pass, Lalusar Pass, Junction Point
  • Reach Nagar in the Evening

DAY 5
Travel: Minapin, Pakistan to Hapakun, Pakistan | Activity: Trek | Overnight: Hapakun, Pakistan

  • Depart from Minapin
  • Trek towards Happakum Camp
  • Camp at Rakaposhi Base Camp

DAY 6
Travel: Happakun - Tagaphari | Activity: Trek | Overnight: Islamabad, Pakistan

  • Trek from Happakum to Tagaphari
  • Spend day at Base Camp
  • Camp at Uper Tagphari

DAY 7
Travel: Hapakun, Pakistan - Hunza, Pakistan | Activity: Trek | Overnight: Hunza, Pakistan

  • Trek back to Minapin
  • Drive to Karimabad
  • Visit Altit Fort and Eagle Nest

DAY 8
Travel: Hunza Valley, Pakistan - Gilgit, Pakistan | Activity: Trek, Ice Climing | Overnight: Gilgit, Pakistan

  • Stop at Attabad Lake and Hussaini Bridge
  • Ice Climbing on Passu Glacier (training provided)
  • Depart to Gilgit

DAY 9
Travel:
Gilgit, Pakistan - Islamabad, Pakistan | Activity: Travel | Overnight: Islamabad, Pakistan

  • Drive to Islamabad
  • Lunch at Besal
  • Arrive in Islamabad in the evening

DAY 10
Travel:
Islamabad, Pakistan - Your Home | Activity: Travel | Overnight: Your Home

  • Today you say farewell and head home

Sign Up Eligibility

  • Age: 18 years or older
  • Vaccination Status: Double Vaccinated
  • Physically fit (able to participate in physically inclined challenges)
  • No serious medical/health conditions that could affect your well-being (i.e. physical injuries, heart condition, pregnancy) *Please consult with your doctor prior to signing up
  • All participants must raise 100% of fundraising goal prior to September 8, 2023

Refund Policy

  • Refund requests for deposit payments will be accepted until August 10, 2023
  • After October 20, 2023 deposit payments are non-refundable
