Our Team Fundraising Page

Marie's Owls' name is in memory of Annemarie's grandmother, Marie Zoller, who passed away from breast cancer back in the 1980s. The "owl" part comes from the fact that she collected owls, which to some people are symbols of truth, understanding, patience, and wisdom to us when we need it most...like finding a cure for breast cancer. (I don't think that's why she collected them, but just let me tie the meaning into our efforts to fundraise and go with it.) Every person on this team has either been affected by cancer, had a loved one be touched by cancer, or is just passionate about helping the cause.
