Why I Walk

At 22 weeks of pregnancy with our daughter Harper, I was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome. Our daughter was due on March 10th, 2022, however on November 4th, 2022 I was admitted to UNC Chapel Hill and she was born 3 days later on November 7th, 2022. On this day our daughter gained her angel wings. 

In honor of Harper and her 6th month anniversary this month and it being Preeclampsia awareness month, my husband and I decided to make a team to represent her and to help find more research on Preeclampsia/HELLP Syndrome.
