When I was pregnant with my daughter I had preeclampsia. Luckily the doctors quickly and correctly diagnosed and treated me. Treatment included them immediately induced me, and we had my daughter the next day (Thanksgiving Day!). Treatment continued weeks after with blood pressure medicine, Magnesium drip (to prevent seizures), and monitoring my blood pressure 3x a day. I feel very blessed to have had the doctors, treatment, and outcome that I had and am walking to help improve the outcomes of others.
