Our family is participating in the Chicago Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics in honor my special little guy. My son has a rare chromosomal disorder called 8P deletion. This has led to many delays and challenges with learning, motor skills and social skills. Harper (6) is a magnificent little boy who lights up a room with his smile and positivity. He is the nicest, sweetest and kindest child to everyone that he meets and calls everyone friend.
We want to give back to other families and the special needs community by raising money and awareness for the many children and adults with any type of needs. I personally will be matching up-to $3,000 in donations. Please join us if you are able to help in raising money for the upcoming Polar Plunge for team King Harper’s Ice Warriors. On Sunday, March 3, 2024 I will participate in the 2024 Chicago Polar Plunge, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump into Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of Chicagoans who participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
