On Sunday, March 3, 2024 I will be participating in the 2024 Chicago Polar Plunge, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump into Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of Chicagoans who participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. As many of you know, I was very involved in High School with students who had special needs. I miss the days where I was able to see their happy and smiling faces everyday in gym class and after school at best buddies. Taking the plunge will make me remember these joyful times and I am happy to continue and show my support to these individuals. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
