For the second time in a row – we are thrilled to announce that White & Case Chicago is a corporate partner supporting the 24th annual Chicago Polar Plunge!
On Sunday, March 3, 2024 our team will participate in the 2024 Chicago Polar Plunge, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events!! We are excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump into Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of Chicagoans who participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. Through your donations, people with intellectual disabilities can discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
Our team is led by Mike Andolina, Erin Rosenberg and Eric Clamage. We will have our own HEATED tent – stocked with food and drinks – and on the beach, there will be different activities to entertain us before, and after, our plunge.
As background, one of our partners in the Chicago office, Mike Andolina, has served on the board of Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities for the past six years and has seen first-hand the impact of our Polar Plunge fundraising. Thousands of athletes participate in programming they support, and more than 70% of those athletes and families are at, or below, the poverty level.
