In the last seven years, I've come to appreciate what Special Olympics Chicago provides to the more than 5,000 athletes it supports: a sense of determination, achievement and belonging. That's why, for the seventh consecutive year, I'm particiating in the Chicago Polar Plunge. On Sunday, March 3, 2024, I'll join thousands of others as we jump into Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of Chicagoans who participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
