Thirteen years ago, I received my first Canine Companions dog - Tatiana - and she ended up saving my life in more ways than I can count. So when I received my second dog - Yani - nine years later, she had almost impossible shoes to fill. But Yani came at the most opportune time, and ended up mending my broken heart after two huge losses and has helped me give my first unassisted steps post amputation. These dogs have exceeded any and all expectations. My life is better, happier, and healthier because of them. I have been blessed with two guardian angels, plus ongoing support, completely free of charge thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters.
Leading up to DogFest Orlando, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities like myself is immeasurable. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them.
