Erving is the 8th puppy we've raised for Canine Companions and we are delighted to welcome this future hero into our home and hearts. We'll teach him important behaviors and give him many social experiences so he can grow into a confident service dog.
All dogs are provided free of charge to our graduates, so the human can get on with leading a more independent life. But there is always a wait list. Your gift will help us place more dogs with people who need just a little extra help--a paw, a nuzzle, the pulling open of a door, or picking up an item. It is pure joy to see these dogs matched with their forever person---that moment is what we practice and train for.
