Together we can support Canine Companions in providing highly trained assistance dogs to graduates completely free of charge.

Want to know a little more about our club?

STEP@UCF was founded in 2016. Since then, we have had 16 dogs graduate as assistance dogs and currently have 26 puppies being raised at UCF! We host general meetings monthly to educate our members about service dog etiquette, disability rights, the Canine Companions mission, and of course - what our pups get up to! We host fundraisers to contribute as a club to Canine Companions, and events to educate the community and have some PAWsome fun with our pups! 

The past two years we partnered with fellow Canine Companions', UCF, and STEP@UCF supporters Katie and Thad Seymour Jr, who are dedicated puppy rasiers within the community, to name a Canine Companions' puppy after Pegasus and Knighto, two of UCF's mascots. Canine Companions' highly trained assistance dogs increase independence for their graduates and provide countless new opportunities as well. With their help, we reached our goal of $15,000 twice to name future service puppies after Pegasus and Knightro. We then reached our next goal of $25,000, which let us bring Pegasus and Knightro home to be raised through STEP@UCF!
