We raise money for reasearch for Owen and all children that have Dravet Syndrome. So that one day we will find a CURE!

 Owen, is 10 years old and has a rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. At the age of three months Owen had his first seizure, lasting over eight minutes. Over the next 10 months we watched him seize, sometimes seizing for over an hour. Finally, we did a genetic test and found he had a non-inherited genetic mutation and we received the devastating diagnosis of Dravet Syndrome. Over the last decade Owen has had thousands of seizures, sometimes hundreds in a day. He has consumed gallons of medications, endured countless hours of therapies, and multiple surgeries and sedations. Over time he has developed five different seizure types. Even though he is on a cocktail of very powerful medications, seizures continue. In spite of all his challenges he loves playing catch, bowling, dancing in his adaptive dance class, swimming, and traveling with his family. And we need your help to raise money for research to find a cure for Owen and every child with Dravet.
